How can we help
COVID-19 UPDATE
During the COVID-19 crisis, Our Daily Bread Food Pantry has taken proactive measures to protect the health and well-being of our Guests and Volunteers as we remain committed to serve as an essential service to our community. We are taking necessary precautions and following all CDC guidelines.
Until the crisis abates, we will operate using a “Drive Thru” approach. Guests will drive in, remain in vehicles and volunteers will bring all food to cars and place it in trunks. This applies to all of our outreaches: Saturday Food Pantry, Mobile Food Pantry and Food by Appointment.
We have instructed our volunteers NOT to come to the Pantry if they are showing signs of illness, have an underlying medical condition that makes them vulnerable to infection, or live with or have regular contact with anyone considered at risk from COVID-19.
Similarly, we are asking guests to stay home if any of the above factors apply to them, recommending they send a friend or helper to pick up groceries on their behalf.
We continue to monitor developments and will take appropriate measures accordingly. Our hope is to continue to provide healthy supplemental food for families in need during this time of uncertainty and disruption.
